Work may include but is not limited to engineering/design for specific projects and systems, new installation, repairs, and maintenance of new or existing IT/Infrastructure systems for the county Unless otherwise authorized by the department of labor and industries, each voucher claim submitted by a contractor for payment must state that the prevailing wages have been paid in accordance with the prefilled statement or statements of intent to pay prevailing wages on file with the public agency Pierce County is seeking proposals for a licensed contractor to provide comprehensive telecommunication system services and installation throughout the county. Work may include but is not limited to engineering/design for specific projects and systems, new installation, repairs, and maintenance of new or existing IT/Infrastructure systems for the county. Work locations include, but are not limited to, county-owned locations, between county-owned locations (right-of-way), as well as in non-County-owned locations as approved via lease and/or interagency agreements. The initial contract period is anticipated to be for 12 months. At the mutual option between the County and the contractor, the contract may be renewed for up to one (1) additional twelve (12) month term. The resulting contract shall not exceed 2 years unless more time is required to complete work on any open work order issued prior to the end of the two-year time for completion.
