The Rockaway Tank is the Town’s largest water storage reservoir and is located in the northeastern portion of the distribution systems. Water age in this tank is often elevated due to tank size and location, which can lead to elevated water age in the distribution system and reduced chlorine residual levels. The project will fund the installation of a new chlorine system at the site to allow staff to boost chlorine levels and to construct a new aeration system for TTHM removal due to water age. As of March 29, 2023, this project is included in the Town of Cave Creek's FY 2024-2028 CIP. Information regarding a design team and the contractor selection has not been disclosed. A firm timeline for construction has not been established. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP).
