This purpose of this project is to remove five (5) existing old trail bridges and install five (5) new trail bridges on five (5) different hiking trail locations inside the park. The new trail bridges have already been purchased, assembled, and are stored at the park's maintenance facility. They need to be installed at their individual locations by the contractor as designated by the park. The contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, transportation, materials, tools, equipment, and ancillary services necessary to execute the tasks specified in this the scope of work and any of its attachments. Structural & Civil Engineering: o VA PE Stamped Design & Calculation Package for the Bridges o VA PE Stamp Design & Calculation Package for the Abutments/Anchors Bridge 1 - S. Valley Trail at Lot C Access: o Qty (1) Pedestrian Bridge o Weathering Steel Bridge o Pratt Truss Configuration o 90 PSF Live Load o PT Pin(R) Decking o Horizontal Railing o Freight to project site Our estimate below defines our full scope of work as a turn-key solution for the pedestrian bridges on the project. Bridge Brother's scope will include all structural & civil engineering associated with the bridges and foundations and issue a PE stamped design package, In addition, Bridge Brothers will handle all site construction associated with the bridges, manufacturing of the bridges, and onssts erection of the bridges. The bridge structures and all associated designs will be in adherence to AASHTQ design guide for bridge structures.
