Reference Number: 0000315391 The Town of Mead is seeking qualified Contractors to provide PEMB design and engineering services for a public facilities project that would involve design of a new Community Center. Mead is a growing community of more than 4,500 residents, located approximately 40 miles north of Denver along Interstate I-25. The Town has purchased a one-acre property containing approximately 16,000 square feet of agricultural/industrial space located in the heart of downtown Mead at the southwest corner of Martin and 3rd St. The existing facilities have been demolished, allowing for new construction of this Community Center facility. Programming, conceptual, and schematic design are complete and the Architecture and Engineering team are moving into the design development phase. The Contractor will be required to evaluate schematic design and provide an initial cost estimate for the schematic design provided by the Architect. The selected PEMB would be contracted with the Town of Mead for the design, engineering, and permit document phases and then contract with the General Contractor for the construction phase or have their supply and erection contract assigned to the General Contractor.
