The Technical College System of Georgia is accepting sealed bids on behalf of Wiregrass Georgia Technical College for a Restroom Renovation project for Buildings 100, 200, 300 and 400 at their Ben Hill-Irwin Campus, in strict conformity with the project plans, bidding documents and contract documents associated with this project. The Ben Hill-Irwin Campus is located at 667 Perry House Rd, Fitzgerald, GA 31750. Wiregrass Georgia Technical College will be hosting an onsite Mandatory Prebid Conference for this project. The conference will include a meeting to discuss the scope of work and a site visit to view the areas associated with the project. Review the details below for more information. Failure to participate in the Prebid Meeting and Site Visit, in its entirety, will result in disqualification from the bid process. TCSG and the College reserves the right to disqualify a potential bidder for failure to be in attendance at the Prebid conference by the scheduled time. Please review the Mandatory Prebid Conference document attached to the Bid Notice on the Georgia Procurement Registry and the Bid Event within Team Georgia Marketplace for more information about this meeting. All questions regarding the bidding documents, the bidding process, substitution requests, and Team Georgia Marketplace (TGM) must be submitted in writing to the contracting officer listed below in order to be accepted. Only written responses will be binding. From the date that this Invitation to Bid (ITB) is issued until a bidder is selected and the selection is announced, there shall be no communication for any reason, except during the Prebid conference, between a bidder and any state employee other than the contracting officer regarding this ITB. TCSG and the College reserves the right to reject any bid for violation of this provision. This project has been posted as an electronic bid event within the Team Georgia Marketplace bidding system. Project Plans are available at no charge and may be downloaded directly from the bid event and the Dropbox Link listed below. All bid submission documents must be completed, executed and uploaded to the bid event by the closing date and time in order for them to be considered. TCSG will not accept paper bids or bid documents submitted by any other means. It is highly recommended that all companies complete the registration process and review the project plans prior to attending the Mandatory Prebid Conference. The deadline for submitting Requests for Interpretations will be April 20, 2023 by 5:00 p.m. The last addendum will be posted on or before April 25, 2023 by 5:00 p.m. EST. The college expects the price to fall between $360,000 to $380,000. *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
