Renovation of a residential development in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the renovation of a residential development.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that specifications and proposals forms for furnishing all labor and materials and professional consulting and or/ construction services for the following project(s) entitled: Schenley Heights Collaborative rehab for resale The Project includes front elevation: removal and replacement of window lintels in two locations, provide new brick face and mortar, installing fabric flashing wall for water diversion, providing interior pointing to bearing masonry at the basement, 1st and 2nd floor wall areas, providing new tuck pointing at masonry as possible to existing structures, and clean all masonry work after completion. Remove all excess material and debris from the site and provide an interim dumpster during construction. Roof work: remove existing roof shingles, sheathing, gutters, fascia trim, and all roof flashing. Remove the existing masonry chimney below the roof and install new aluminum fascia and K-style gutters downspout. Replace the bad roof deck and install scallop vinyl siding and fascia trim at the gable extension at the roof. General Interior Demolition: remove all interior plaster surfaces down to existing studs, provide inspection per ACM reports to URA, and remove all other items deemed not salvageable per URA Site Inspectors. Rear elevation: Provide adequate shoring for the existing floor joist, support the floor joist at the basement, and continue to the first floor. Provide new sister framing if joists have deteriorated and rebuild areas of a masonry wall that support existing and new joists. Remove wood lintels at second-floor windows and replace them per specs. Compliance is required with the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act of 1961, P.L. 987, No. 442; Title VI and other applicable provisions of the Civil Rights Act of 1964; the Department of Labor Equal Opportunity Clause (41 CFR 60 -1.4); Executive Order 11625 (Utilization of Minority Business Enterprise); Executive Order 12138 (Utilization of Female Business Enterprise); in compliance with Section 504 of Rehabilitation Act of 1973 and Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990; the Allegheny County MBE/WBE Program enacted July, 1981, which sets forth goals of 13 percent Minority and 2 percent Female Business Enterprise; and the Allegheny County Ordinance #6867-12, setting forth goals of 5 percent Veteran Owned Small Businesses.
