Sealed Bids will be received for the implementation of Wildwood Mass Grading. Work consists of mass grading and stormwater piping on the Wildwood Industrial Site. Work consists of the mass grading of the site and installation of storm sewer in accordance with the contract documents. Project Location: Previously graded industrial site located northeast of Interstate 77 Exit 19 at Coulson Church Road Withdrawal of Bids due to error shall be in accordance with Virginia Code Section 2.2-4330.B. 1. Should the apparent low Bid exceed available funds, the Owner reserves the right to negotiate with the apparent low bidder to obtain a contract price within available funds. Bidders shall comply with Virginia Code Section 54.1-1112 regarding information required with Bid. Envelopes containing Bids shall be clearly marked with the Bidder's contractor license number. Bidders certify that they do not or will not maintain or provide for their employees any facilities that are segregated on the basis of race, color, creed, or national origin. The Work will be constructed in two phases. 1. Phase I will include the mass grading of the western Greenhouse 1 pad, ring road area adjacent to the pad, the northwestern irrigation pond, retaining walls within the Phase I area, the building pad north of Greenhouse 1 to the future Maynard Drive VDOT ROW, the building & parking areas north of Maynard Drive and the noted staging area in the northwest corner of Greenhouse 2 . 2. Phase II will include the mass grading of the remainder of the site including (but not limited to) storm and irrigation ponds, Greenhouse 2 pad, retaining walls, storm sewer construction per the plans and any other remaining work in accordance with the Contract Documents. the project proposes the installation of a large greenhouse facility at the wildwood commerce park, to include an approximately 65 acre greenhouse, material storage, parking, office space, and laydown areas. the project also includes two large stormwater retention ponds to capture and reuse roof runoff, as well as mass grading, utility extensions, and other improvements to stormwater management infrastructure.
