The Department of Administrative Services, Office of Fleet Management is installing EV charging stations at 3 state buildings located in Columbus Ohio. The sites include Rhodes State Office Tower, 4200 Surface Rd, and 246 N High/35 Chestnut. The selected AE firm will need to determine, with the owner, the type and the installation of the units, power and wiring for the new charging stations. Four (4) new charging stations installed per site (12 total). Architectural/ Engineering (A/E) services are required for design, permitting, construction administration and other services as described in this RFQ. This project will utilize General Contracting delivery methods for construction contracts. All aspects of the project and related issues will be implemented and operated consistent with the Contracting Authority's and the Owner's policies and procedures. Upon award of the Agreement, the selected Architect/Engineer (A/E) will commence by developing the Program of Requirements (POR) with the owner. The selected A/E, as a portion of its required Scope of Services and prior to submitting its proposals, will discuss and clarify with the Owner and/or the Contracting Authority, the cost breakdown of the Architect/Engineer Agreement detailed cost components to address the Owner's project requirements. Participate in the Encouraging Growth, Diversity & Equity (EDGE) Program as required by statute and the Agreement. As required by the Agreement, and as properly authorized, provide the following categories of services: Program Verification/Program of Requirements, Schematic Design, Design Development, Construction Document Preparation, Bid and Award Support, Conformed Documents, Construction Administration, Post-Construction, and Additional Services of all types. The Method of Contractor Selection has not been determined at this time.
