As of May 11th, 2023 this project is pending an award decision. 2023 Landfill Gas Collection and Control System (GCCS) expansions at the Mesa County Landfill located in Grand Junction, CO Question Acceptance Deadline 04/06/2023 04:00 PM EDT Purchasing Representative Dan Frank, Purchasing Agent dan.frank@mesacounty.us 970-255-7151 The scope of work for each landfill project, which is described in the enclosed bid package, generally consists of the following: - Installation of thirty-four landfill gas (LFG) extraction wells and thirty-six LFG wellheads, - Installation of isolation valves, road crossings, condensate sumps, and blind flanges, - Installation of 18-inch, 12-inch, and 10-inch header/force main and air line, - Installation of 6-inch LFG collection piping. - Installation of horizontal LFG collection drench - Connecting GCCS system to leachate sump for condensate collection -Construction of Flare facility and associated installations of facility to GCCS system Note: The contractor shall initiate mobilization and work, and the GCCS must be operational by November 18, 2023. Location of Work The Mesa County Landfill is located in Grand Junction, Colorado. The address for the the Landfill is 3071 U.S. Highway 50, Grand Junction, Colorado 81503. A site map for the site is provided in Section 4 - Well Schedule and Drawings The intent of this Contract is to provide for construction and completion of the Work in accordance with the Contract Drawings and Specifications using a standard of care consistent within the solid waste construction management industry and consistent with the General and Special Conditions and other requirements contained herein. Unless otherwise specified, the CONTRACTOR shall furnish all labor, materials, tools, equipment and incidentals that are necessary to complete the work in a proper, complete and acceptable manner in accordance with the Drawings and Specifications. he Mesa County Landfill is constructing a new landfill gas collection and control system (GCCS) for environmental control. The Work is more fully detailed in Section 1.6, Section 2.2, and the drawings included herein. The work to be performed for this project includes, but is not necessarily limited to, the following: - Mobilization and demobilization of equipment and labor, - Install thirty-four vertical LFG extraction wells, - Install thirty-six wellheads on LFG extraction wells, - Install air supply and condensate forcemain piping in common trench with the LFG header piping, - Install new LFG collection piping from to connect the new LFG extraction wells., - Install horizontal LFG collection trench, - Install corrugated metal pipe (CMP) encasements for LFG, at road crossings, as shown on the drawings, - Install blind flange for future connections, - Install connection to existing leachate collection sump for condensate collection, - Construct Flare Facility and associated installations to the GCCS, and - Reseed landfill areas disturbed by CONTRACTOR'S operations.
