Renovation of a playground / park / athletic field in Reading, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a playground / park / athletic field.
The Town of Reading is accepting Sealed Bids for REBUILDING AND POINTING MASONRY STONE WALLS AND RELATED WORK Project 23-27. The work under this contract consists of re-building and pointing masonry stone walls, as required by the Town, located at Memorial Park abutting the Salem Street entrance. Each Bid shall be submitted in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders and shall be accompanied by a bid security in the amount of five percent (5%) of the amount Bid. Minimum Wage Rates as determined by the Commissioner of Department of Workforce Development under the provisions of the Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 149, Section 26 to 27D, as amended, apply to this project. The bidding and award of this Contract will be under the provisions of M.G.L. Chapter 30, Section 39M. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informality in or to reject any or all Bids if deemed to be in its best interest. Every request for such interpretation shall be in writing (typed, not handwritten) addressed to purchasing@ci.reading.ma.us. It is the bidder's responsibility to confirm that any request has been received. To be given consideration a request must be received at least seven (7) calendar days prior to the date fixed for the opening of bids.
