Renovation of a library in Groveland, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a library.
The Town of Groveland is soliciting Invitation for Bids (IFB) from experienced, qualified contractors to remove the existing undersized HVAC system and equipment and replace with four (4) new ductless units in the existing unit locations with a BTU rating of 120K or higher at the Langley-Adams Library Building located at 185 Main Street, Groveland, Massachusetts. Bid security in the form of a bid bond, cash, certified check, or treasurer's or cashier's check payable to The Town of Groveland is required in the amount of five (5%) percent of the bid, in accordance with the bid documents The Town of Groveland reserves the right to reject any or all bids or take whatever action is in the best interest of the Town. No oral interpretations will be made to any bidders as to the meaning of the specifications. Every request for such an interpretation shall be made in writing by a bidder and sent to Sam Joslin, Building Inspector, may be reached via e-mail to SJoslin@grovelandma.com. Questions will be accepted until Wednesday, April 5, 2023 at 12:00 PM. After this date and time, no additional questions or clarifications will be accepted.
