Site work for a water / sewer project in Modesto, California. Design plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Existing water lines in the Paradise / Ohio/Grimes are approximately 60 year old steel mains that are small in diameter and need to be replaced in accordance with industry standard practice. This project is the second phase which will provide funding to install new 8" and 12" water lines with individual residential services and additional fire hydrants. Improvements to Grimes Avenue north of Paradise, Ohio Ave, north of Paradise to MID canal, Michael Ave., Mosher Ave. and Paradise (Pauline to Ohio) This project is included in the City of Modesto's FY 2022-2027 Capital Improvement Plan (CIP). Per the owner, as of April 14, 2023, this project is being designed by in-house staff. The owner status that construction is anticipated in 2024. Owner states that they do not have a general contractor for the project yet. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the CIP often evolves based on funding availability and the project details, including timeline and value, are subject to change. The content management team will continue to pursue additional details as they become available.
