Renovation of a municipal facility in Ames, Iowa. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
Remove existing EPDM and other roof coatings on roof levels noted on plans, replace with new 60 mil EPDM fully adhered. Insulation to be replaced meeting R-values noted on plans. Salvage existing and reset pavers. Per the drawings and specifications. If the contracted amount is $25,000 or more, the successful Bidder must furnish a performance and payment bond covering the faithful performance of 100% of the Contract and the payment of all obligations arising thereunder. Iowa DOT will provide the Performance and Payment Bond Form 131070 upon contract award. It is the intent of the Iowa DOT to award the contract to the responsible bidder whose submitted quotation is the most advantageous to the Iowa DOT, cost and other factors considered. Other factors include, but are not limited to: meeting or exceeding mandatory requirements, proposed staffing, and meeting required time schedule.
