SCOPE OF WORK Select interior and exterior demolition, modifications of existing school; Renovation and remodeling of the existing school; Infrastructure and utility improvements; All other work indicated on the drawings and in the project manual for this project. All work on this project will be awarded to multiple Prime Contractors. Asbestos abatement work in existing school building will be performed by a separate abatement contractor under the direction of the Owner's consultant as listed above. Contractors are expected to visit the existing school and review existing conditions. Failure of contractor to visit site and review existing conditions, or not adequately address said existing conditions, will not excuse contractor from performing all work and supplying all materials called for on the drawings or in the specifications to provide an acceptable facility to the Owner. The Architect has been authorized to refuse to issue plans and specifications and related bidding documents to any person, firm or corporation that the Architect considers to be unqualified.
