As of February 20, 2024, the project has been awarded, however, a timeline for construction has not been confirmed. The proposed project includes the replacement of approximately 300 l.f. of 8-inch gravity sewer, 2,390 l.f. of 10-inch gravity sewer, 760 l.f. of 12-inch gravity sewer, replacement of 16 manholes, and the rehabilitation of 5 manholes. The project is located within the Town of Rowland incorporated limits. The construction shall be performed in accordance with the contract drawings and specifications and shall produce a complete and working system upon completion. All project related questions are to be submitted in writing to brandon@lkcengineering.com. This project is being funded in whole or in part by the Community Development Block Grant Program (CDBG). All federal CDBG requirements will apply to the contract: Bidders on this work will be required to comply with Section 109 and E.O. 11246 which prohibits discrimination in employment regarding race, creed, color, sex, or national origin. Bidders must comply with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, Davis Bacon Act, Anti-Kickback Act, and Contract Work Hours and Safety Standards Act.
