Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Eaton, Ohio. Working plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.

As of May 8th, 2023 all bids have been rejected. For the furnishing of labor and materials required for repairing and maintaining certain City streets and drives, according to the instructions and specifications included with the bid packets. Bids are to be submitted on the following proposal: the furnishing and installation of tack coat, pavement milling, stripe existing traffic markings, stress membrane and surface courses necessary for the repair and maintenance of certain City streets and drives, also construction of sidewalks, curb and gutter, concrete aprons, ADA Ramps with Truncated Domes, as directed by the Assistant City Manager and in accordance with the instructions to bidders, and specifications included in the bid packet. Bids are to be for complete work (including all sweeping and rolling, and furnishing of all necessary lights, barricades, and other traffic control devices). Pursuant to O.R.C. Section 153.54(B), no bid shall be considered unless it is accompanied by a Bid Bond for the full amount of the bid -OR- a cashier's check or certified check, issued by a responsible bank or trust company and payable to the order of the City of Eaton, in the sum of at least ten percent (10%) of the Bid. The Bid Guaranty shall be enclosed with the sealed Bid. The attention of the Bidders is directed to the special statutory provisions contained in, O.R.C. Chapter 4115 governing the prevailing rate of wages to be paid to laborers and mechanics employed on this Project, also to O.R.C. 153.59 regarding nondiscrimination. The City of Eaton reserves the right to reject any and/or all Bids and to waive any discrepancies or irregularities in the Bids. The Bid will be awarded, in the City's discretion, to the lowest and best Bidder.
