The outdoor unit is very old and has developed a hole and will develop more from rub spots in the bottom of the coil. This is due to age, vibration, and from snow accumulating on top of the unit. The existing condenser/coil currently sits below a roof valley on the stations metal roof that receives a large amount of snow during Winter months. The intent of this unit replacement will be to move approximately 10 feet away from the roof line, out into the yard. This will eliminate snow buildup originating from the roof. Contractor shall furnish all material, labor, equipment, and transportation as required to accomplish the repairs. All demolition, disposal, and repairs described herein, for bringing the unit back into service are the responsibility of the Contractor. All Request for Information (RFI's) shall be submitted ONLY to the Contracting Officer at Gregory.Cunningham@usda.gov, in writing using attached RFI form. NOTE: ALL PRE-PROPOSAL INQUIRIES SHALL BE SUBMITTED VIA EMAIL TO Gregory.Cunningham@usda.gov BY AN EDITABLE USE OF THIS FORM.
