Project Scope The project involves supplying and installing replacement air-conditioning units to the shelters, which includes removal and disposal of the existing units, reconnecting low voltage and power wiring, testing of the control system, and commissioning of the new replacement units. Background Information The shelters mostly have (2) 3-ton units which provide cooling or heating continuously. They are mounted on the exterior and also have a separate control panel, MC3000 which provides unit sequencing, temperature and alarming functions. Products The replacement units will be manufactured by Bard, no substitution is allowed. Units will only be replacing existing units, no new units to be installed. Product Specification: Bard Wall-Mount Air Conditioners, W36 AB Series 2.11 GENERAL Furnish and install a self-contained, vertical, exterior wall mount, through-the-wall air conditioner to be manufactured by Bard Manufacturing Company, Inc. The unit shall be approved and listed by Intertek ETL Listed (ETL US/C). Unit shall be factory assembled, pre-charged, pre-wired, tested and ready to operate. Unit performance shall be certified in accordance with the Air Conditioning Heating and Refrigeration Institute (AHRI) Standard 390-2003 for Single Package Vertical Units. Unit efficiency shall be specified by ASHRAE/IESNA 90.1-2016.
