Custodial services and plant operations and maintenance (to include the management of capital and construction projects when called upon to do so by division but exclude hvac and fire systems) The School Board of the Isle of Wight County (hereinafter referred to as "IWCS," Isle of Wight County Schools, or "School Board") requests proposals from prospective Offerors (hereinafter referred to as Offeror, Successful Offeror or Contractor) to provide custodial services and plant operations and maintenance (to include the management of capital and construction projects when called upon to do so by Division but exclude HVAC and fire systems) for our nine schools, transportation (schools annex complex) and central office locations. This contract will begin July 1, 2023 and will continue until June 30, 2024 A performance bond guarantee in the amount of 100% of the first-year contract price. Provider must submit a bid bond guarantee in the amount of 5% of the first-year contract price with their response. The School Board of the Isle of Wight County may cancel this RFP or reject proposals at any time prior to an award, and is not required to furnish a statement of the reasons why a particular proposal was not deemed to be advantageous or qualified.
