Site work for a water / sewer project in New Orleans, Louisiana. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Question Deadline 04/18/2023 at 5:00 PM CT All inquiries shall be directed to Andrew Kessler, Purchasing Analyst, at akessler@swbno.org. A. The work of this contract includes open cut installation of a new 48" ductile iron transmission main along Claiborne Avenue from Louisiana Avenue to Sixth Street, where a new ductile iron 24" water main, parallel to the existing 24" main along Sixth Street, will be tied-in. This contract also includes open cut installation of a 42" ductile iron transmission main along Claiborne to Third Street. A new 48" valve, 42" valve, and 24" valve will be installed at the intersection of Sixth Street and Claiborne Avenue. The contract shall be constructed complete in place with all valves, hydrants, fittings, and services and restoration of roadway, sidewalks, driveways, established lawns, and roadway drainage ditches to original conditions. B. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, tools, services, and incidentals to complete all work required by these specifications and as shown on the drawings. C. The Contractor shall perform the work complete, in place and ready for continuous service, and shall include repairs, replacements, and restoration required as a result of damages caused during this construction. D. The Contractor shall furnish and install all materials, equipment, and labor which is reasonably and properly inferable and necessary for the proper completion of the work, whether specifically indicated in the Contract Documents or not.
