This project is intended to set the stage for a future preliminary design study by identifying constraints and opportunities within the transportation network in and around Downtown Winnipeg. The Services will consist generally of an iterative process of developing, analyzing, refining, and short-listing various network, segment, and intersection alternatives related to incorporating rapid transit infrastructure within or near existing rights-of-way. Short-listed alternatives will be referred to the future Rapid Transit (Downtown Corridors) Preliminary Design study for subsequent analysis, engagement, and reporting.
