Reference Number 0000315653 Description The work includes the following partial listing of items with approximate quantities: 1.Furnishing and installation of tank mixers at the City's elevated tanks. 2.Furnishing and installation of a return flow meter in the basement of the treatment plant. 3.Replacement of the lime and soda ash fill lines. 4.Modification of drain piping to separate the sanitary system from the floor drains in the basement of the plant. 5.Installation of soft starters on the City's well pump motors. 6.Installation of a railing on the roof of the Jackson Water Treatment Plant in support of the lime and soda ash fill line replacement. Bid Bond -5 % Performance Bond -100 % Maintenance Bond -25 % Labor and Materials Bond-100 % General Requirements - Insurance Required - Prevailing Wage Required The Work covered by the Contract Documents comprises the following: 1. Mechanical and Electrical work at the City's elevated tanks located at 914 N W Avenue, Jackson, MI 49202 and 2506 Tyson Street, Jackson, MI 49203. 2. Mechanical, Electrical, and General Trades work at the Jackson Water Treatment Plant at 740 East Mansion Street, Jackson, MI 49203. 3. Electrical work at the Ella Sharp Well Field within Ella Sharp Park. 4. All work to be completed for the City of Jackson, Owner.
