Contract No. 23-PK4 - Lower Hamilton Park - Infrastructure and Retaining Walls (Group 2 Parks) generally includes earthwork and grading; select demolition; relocation of existing metal Quonset Hut, design and build of approximately 4,000 EX-SF of retaining walls approximately 2,200 LF new storm sewers; 800 LF sanitary sewer main; new rain garden; new water service; new electrical service; erosion and sedimentation control and all necessary appurtenances and restoration at Lower and Upper Hamilton Park in Castle Shannon Borough. The scope generally includes earthwork and grading select demolition: 4,000 SF of retaining walls; 2,200 LF of storm sewers; 800 LF of garden; new water service; new 400 AMP electrical erosion and service; sedimentation control and all necessary appurtenances and restoration. Any the bid documents are to be directed to LSSE. Pennsylvania prevailing wage rates apply. Proposals must be upon the forms furnished by the Borough. The bid must be a bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid, made Payable to the Borough of Castle Shannon. The Borough reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive any informalities in the bidding. No bid may be withdrawn for ninety (90) calendar days after the scheduled time for receipt of bids. Attention is directed to the fact that procurement is subject to all requirements of the Pennsylvania "Steel Products Procurement Act, Act No. 1978-3"; and for value Contract $25,000, exceeding the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act (Act of 1961 PL. 987), and The Public Works Employment Verification Act (July 2012) apply. This project is the first phase of improvements for Lower Hamilton Park which will prepare the site for a new synthetic ball field and multiuse building.
