The Integrated Infrastructure Services Department, Infrastructure Planning and Design Branch, Engineering Services Section, Geotechnical Engineering Group, is responsible for the provision of specialist geotechnical engineering services to the department and other parts of the City of Edmonton (the City) corporate structure. This includes geotechnical engineering services to support remedial works and/or new construction projects in all areas of Edmonton, notably including the North Saskatchewan River Valley and Ravine System. The Subsurface Drilling and Investigative Services Standing Arrangement shall be used to support investigative work for projects arising from the Integrated Infrastructure Services Department and other City areas. The Standing Arrangement shall be managed and administered by Engineering Services to support specific projects, as required. The scope will include: Supply labour, materials and equipment required for drilling services and investigation for a variety of geotechnical, construction, and environmental projects on an as required basis. The Method of Contractor Selection has not been determined at this Time.
