Alberta Health Services invites Bids in respect of supply of materials, equipment, and labour for the 2023 parking structure repair program at the East Edmonton Health Centre in Edmonton, Alberta. The Work involves, but is not necessarily limited to the following: Localized waterproofing repairs at the parking structure suspended roof slab, at areas of leakage, as designated on the Drawings. Includes removal of existing overburden assembly (asphalt granular fill materials, insulation, and waterproofing membrane), surface preparation of exposed concrete substrate, application of new 2-ply waterproofing membrane (including lap splices onto existing), installation of new insulation, replacement of existing fill materials, placement of new asphalt pavement assemblies, and scraping and painting of slab soffit areas below designated repair areas, per Details 1/R2.1 through 3/R2.1. Localized concrete slab-on-grade and column delamination repairs, at areas designated by the Consultant. Includes painting (to match existing) at areas affected by the Work. Replacement of joint sealant and backer materials at joints between the south and north slabon-grade parking areas. Localized crack injection repairs at north stairwell foundation wall locations designated by the Consultant. Localized repairs of thin traffic deck coating system at designated block wall and column bases, and new application at the base of designated bollards. Re-grading of landscaping adjacent to the west stairwell. Allowances for multiple work phases, construction hoarding, and dust control measures in order to maintain partial pedestrian and vehicle access through parking structure during work.
