Site work and paving for a civil project in Evanston, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.
Work on this project includes the installation of ductile iron pipe water main ranging from 6-inch to 12-inch diameter in size, combined and storm sewer ranging from 8-inch to 18-inch diameter in size, partial and full lead water service pipe replacements, partial water service replacements (not lead) to accommodate the work, related appurtenances, concrete curb and sidewalk repairs, pavement patching, HMA street resurfacing, parkway restoration, private side restoration (full lead water service pipe replacements only), and all materials, labor, equipment, and incidental work. Work on this project includes the resurfacing of various streets with water main improvements, new water services, trench patching, replacement of curb, adjacent sidewalk, and all incidental construction. Bidders must be prequalified by the Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT) and present an IDOT issued Certificate of Eligibility with the bid proposal.
