Contractor's license number shall appear on the outside of the envelope used to submit bid. A Performance Bond in the amount of 100% of the contract amount and a Statutory "Labor and Material Payment Bond in the amount of 100% of the contract amount will be required from the successful bidder at tthe signing of the contract. Also, proof of insurance will be required when the contract is signed. The City will review bonds and insurance and execute the contract within twenty {20) days unless the successful contractor agrees to an extension in writing." Install a complete single ply PVC roof system including membrane, flashing, and other components in accordance with roofing Manufacturer's specifications. The Work will generally consist of the installation of Birmingham Police Headquarters Roof Replacement, for the City of Birmingham located at 1700 1st Avenue North, Birmingham, AL 35203. All Work as defined in the Specifications. The following Scope of Work shall not be construed as dictating the Contractor's means and methods of work, nor to dictate Project scheduling or phasing. It shall be the Contractor's responsibility to properly coordinate all trades and schedules of work as required to provide a complete, functioning system in compliance with all applicable codes, standards, and regulatory requirements.
