The completed attestation form must be brought to the site meeting/visit and shown to City staff when they sign in. Failure to provide the completed attestation form will not allow a bidder to sign in and will not be permitted to bid on the tender. All bidders shall note that they are required to take a COVID-19 nasal test to enter the building and access the roof, this requirement is mandatory and you must test negative to enter. The mandatory site meeting will be held at 8:45 AM local time, on Thursday, April 6, 2023 at 881 Dutton Road, Peterborough, ON, K9H 7S4. Bidders are asked to meet at the main front entrance, but not to enter the building. Questions should not be asked at the site meeting; they should be submitted directly through bids&tenders(TM). The bidder must follow the instructions stated in Item 3.2.1 of this document. Bidders will be required to sign in upon arrival. Only those bidders whose names appear on the sign in sheet will be permitted to submit a bid on this tender. All bidders will be required to wear a mask and practice social distancing. This Invitation to Tender (the ITT) is an invitation by the City of Peterborough (the City) to prospective bidders to submit bids for the Roofing Replacement at Fairhaven as further described in Section D.1 of the ITT Particulars (Appendix D) (the Deliverables). Through this ITT, the City, acting on behalf of The Corporation of the City of Peterborough (the City), The Corporation of the County of Peterborough (the County) and Fairhaven, is seeking to retain the services of a qualified roofing contractor to perform roofing replacement at Fairhaven, 881 Dutton Road, Peterborough, Ontario in accordance with all details, requirements and specifications set out in or attached to this ITT. Established in 1960, Fairhaven is a 256-bed long-term care facility offering both residential and extended care. Fairhaven is jointly owned by The Corporation of the City of Peterborough and The Corporation of the County of Peterborough. The City shall administer the Bid solicitation process for this ITT. The Fairhaven Committee of Management shall administer the evaluation and award for the Work of this ITT. The City will provide project management of the project along with the roofing consultant.
