This Invitation to Tender (the "ITT") is an invitation by the City of Peterborough (the "City") to prospective bidders to submit bids for Armour Road Reconstruction and Resurfacing, as further described in Section D.1 of the ITT Particulars (Appendix D) (the "Deliverables"). The ITT covers earth excavation, grading, removal and reinstallation of storm sewer, removal and reinstallation of sanitary sewer, removal and reinstallation of watermain, installation of low impact development features, oil/grit separators, removal and reinstallation of concrete curb and gutter, removal and reinstallation of concrete sidewalks, removal and reinstallation of sanitary and water services, installation of storm services, tree plantings, pavement markings and sign installations as part of full road reconstruction as shown on the enclosed drawings for work on Armour Road from 20m north of Clifton Street to 57m south of Douro Street. Removal and reinstallation of sanitary sewer, pavement markings and road resurfacing will be completed from 57m south of Douro Street to 13m north of Hunter Street East. Question Deadline 04/13/2023 at 12:00 PM ET The contractor is tentatively scheduled to commence work in July 2023, and it is anticipated that the work will be substantially completed by the fall of 2023 with final underground infrastructure, surface asphalt and landscaping to be completed in spring/summer of 2024.
