Contractor agrees to provide to the Department of Water Resources (DWR), low voltage cabling services as described herein. DWR has multiple sites and offices all over the state of California (CA). The DWR Division of Technology Services (DTS) is responsible for supporting the Business Information Technology (IT) environment at all DWR locations as well as multiple small entities within the CA Natural Resources Agency (CNRA) and the CNRA Data Center. There is constant need for physical cabling (Layer 1) at all DWR and CNRA locations. DTS is constantly working to maintain and improve the Layer 1 infrastructure for CNRA. The primary components of the low voltage needs are Single Mode Fiber cable, Multi-mode Fiber cable, copper cable, and coaxial cable. Other types of low voltage work may also be required. The majority of the work will take place from Monday through Friday between the hours of 7:00 am and 5:00 pm. Work may be required outside of standard business hours depending on criticality and need.
