Project work includes clearing and grubbing, pavement grinding, pavement removal, tree removal, roadway excavation, bridge demolition, channel slope protection, roadway approach work, aggregate base, asphalt pavement, traffic striping, bridge construction, retaining wall construction, installation of metal beam guard rail, concrete barriers, and bridge railings, and doing all other work specified on the plans and in the specifications. Contractor License Required: General Engineering Contractor, Class A The County of Sacramento received final approval from the Director of the California Department of Industrial Relations to enforce a Labor Compliance Program effective March 15, 1994.
