Question Deadline 04/12/2023 at 5:00 PM PT Contracts and Procurement Manager, by email: sself@cityofsalem.net WORK DESCRIPTION: Replacement of carpet and vinyl flooring in occupied and unoccupied Salem Housing Authority Rental Properties. Replacement of carpet and vinyl in unoccupied one fl) bedroom apartments. Work is to be completed within five (5) days of receipt of the "Notice to Proceed" for each unit. The Housing Authority will give the Contractor as much notice as possible in advance of the "Notice to Proceed". Units will be scheduled for completion as they become vacant. -Removal and disposal (offsite) of existing glue down carpet. -Proper preparation ofsurface for new glue down carpet. -Replacement of carpet with new, HUD approved 100% nylon, continuous filament glue down carpet, Shaw, Queens Style QI861, color #00730 "Parsnip", Olefin, Mohawk "Aladdin", Style 270 Endless Naturals, color: Pebbles, or approved equal Approximately 52 yards. -Removal and disposal of existing rubber base and replacement with new 4" rubber base, Color "Putty". Approximately 150 ft.
