The Town of New Fairfield shall not accept responsibility for any information given by Town employees outside the Purchasing Department unless previously authorized SCOPE: The Town of New Fairfield on behalf of Squantz Engine Company is soliciting competitive quotations for qualified bidder to supply and install new Coastal Resort Luxury vinyl plank flooring utilizing the direct glue down method of installation over the existing substrate as is throughout the designated community room areas. All transition moldings and adhesives shall be included. Rip up of existing VCT tile providing it is not composed of asbestos and rip up of existing hardwood dance floor area will be included and placed in job site container provided by the town or others. Any unforeseen issues with the substrate that may require alterations after removal of VCT tile and hardwood will be billed out separately. Large Furniture and partition will be moved by the fire department prior to installation. Johnsonite wall base will need to be supplied by vendor. Color to be selected after reviewing samples. Additional flooring preparations and costs will be optional if required after ripping up existing flooring which may include the following, New Multiply underlayment, Skim coat existing plywood subfloor, additional plywood in dance floor area to blend subfloor transition. The Bidder must give a 100% guarantee of all work or equipment.
