The Town of New Fairfield will receive sealed bids for Hauling & Placement of Class II Bituminous Concrete Overlay for Fiscal Season 2022 to 2023. The Town of New Fairfield reserves the rights to amend or terminate this Request for Proposals, accept all or any part of a proposal, reject all proposals, waive any informalities or non-material deficiencies in a proposal, and award the proposal to the proposer that, in the Town's judgment, will be in the Town's best interests. The Town of New Fairfield (here unto referred to as Town) will be milling/overlaying the following roads throughout the Town with Class II bituminous concrete in 2022-2023. These are approximate 2.86 miles, and all contractors must take their own measurements. Section I - Full width milling and 1- 1/2 " overlay Project 1 Bear Mountain Rd., Milling at a depth of 2" replace with 2" Bituminous Concrete Class II 0.71 Miles Section II 1-1/2" overlay only Project 2 Dick Finn Rd. overlay with 1.5" Bituminous Concrete Class II 0.81 Miles Project 3 Bigelow Rd. overlay with 1.5" Bituminous Concrete Class II 1.11 Miles Project 4 Galloping Hill Rd. overlay with 1.5" Bituminous Concrete Class II 0.23 Miles TOTAL 2.86 Miles Bid_Result Milling and 2" Overlay Cocchiola Paving : $563,160.00 1.5" Overlay Intercounty Paving : $380,050.00
