Renovation of a transportation facility in Sturgis, South Dakota. Completed plans call for the renovation of a transportation facility.
Sealed bids will be received by the City Council of the, City of Sturgis for furnishing all equipment, labor, and materials as set forth in the specifications and performing all work, incidental thereto for Automated Weather Observing System (AWOS III-P), Sturgis Municipal Airport, Sturgis South Dakota. Base Bid Primary Work: AWOS III-P System Complete and Commissioned, Terminal Building Work, Vault Building Work, 3,752 Ft of 1/C No. 2 AWG Cu, 600V Installed in Conduit, 1,876 Ft of 1/C No. 8 AWG Cu, 600 V (GND) Installed in Conduit, 938 Ft of Trenching and Backfilling or Plowing for Conduit, 258 Ft of Non-Encased Electrical Conduit 2 Inch Type I Sch. 40 PVC in Trench or SDR 13 HDPE Plowed, 1 Each Cable Markers, 1 Each L-867B (12") Class 1 Junction Box with Flat Blank Steel Cover, 1 Each L-810 LED Double Airport Obstruction Light in Place, and various other items of related construction. Additionally, upon request, in accordance with South Dakota Codified Law 5-18B-1, one copy of Plans and Specifications shall be furnished, without charge, to each Contractor resident in South Dakota who intends, in good faith, to bid upon the project. Minimum Wage Rates: The successful bidder will be required to comply with all applicable Federal Labor Laws, including the minimum wage rates decision of the United States Department of Labor.
