The role of the contractor will be to set up and respect a maintenance program for the cooling towers in the buildings of the CSSMB. DESCRIPTION OF WORK The building law (chapter B-1.1), section VII "Provisions relating to the maintenance of a water cooling tower installation" and the maintenance program of the CSSMB form an integral part of the contract and the SERVICE PROVIDER DE SERVICES must respect them and work according to them. The contractor must appoint a qualified technical representative who will visit all the installations at least once a week . During each visit, the contractor must: Perform water analyzes of all systems as required in the water quality maintenance program according to the safety code Chapter B-1.1, r3 building law and according to the Water Sampling Protocol of the circuit of the DR-09-11 cooling towers. Qualification required The SERVICE PROVIDER must have available and sufficient employees to carry out the work requiring one or more professional chemists or microbiologists in order to meet the need for an estimate. The latter must be a member of a Quebec order. The successful bidder must, for each of the cooling towers covered by this call for tenders, have a water quality maintenance program drawn up and signed . The quality maintenance program must contain, in addition to the mandatory Legionella pneumophila bacteria analyses , cellular ATP (cATP) tests, which must be taken at each visit, for each cooling tower. Every three (3) months, the SERVICE PROVIDER must carry out a corrosion study using a corrosion monitor which records the rate of corrosion instantly on a chart recorder thus confirming the effectiveness of the chemical program.
