Reference number : 1721878 Submission sent electronically accepted: No The work covered by the project consists of the rehabilitation by lining of sections of the drinking water network between sections 54 to 64 at the Port of Montreal and the rehabilitation of the paving of the Racine entrance. The project includes, but is not limited to, the following Works: -The installation of a temporary supply network maintained for the entire duration of the Works for connections marked with the plans; -The rehabilitation by lining of approximately 287 meters of drinking water pipes 150 mm in diameter, 1140 meters of drinking water pipes 200 mm in diameter, 493 meters of drinking water pipes 250 mm in diameter, and 580 meters of drinking water pipes 300 mm in diameter; -Replacement by excavation of approximately 6 meters of drinking water pipes 150 mm in diameter, 27 meters of drinking water pipes 200 mm in diameter, 24 meters of drinking water pipes 250 mm in diameter, and 14 meters of drinking water pipes 300 mm in diameter Schedule of Work: The Work is planned for a total duration of 30 weeks and can take place as long as weather conditions allow it in 2023 with a stoppage of work for the winter break. Although the winter break is allowed, the work in 2023 and 2024 will have to be done continuously each year. In the event of a halt in the progress of the work, all excavations must have been backfilled and paved so that the daily operations of the Port can proceed without impact.
