The City is seeking Building Envelope Specialists to assess the condition of the Art Gallery of Saskatchewan Inc. roofing system to develop a long-term phased approach to managing the asset. The work will require assessment of the current conditions to prepare an asset management plan focusing on critical areas of the Category A museum. Preventative maintenance is ongoing and in 2022 the City engaged a building envelope specialist to review the work performed to date. The work will include investigations, project management, design and construction documentation, and contract administration. This project will require coordination between the City and staff of the facility to provide the duty of care consistent with a Category A museum while maintaining operational needs.
