Site work for a water / sewer project in Madison Heights, Virginia. Conceptual plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
**As of May 12, 2023 , project is cancelled. Project is no longer needed.** Results will be tabulated and provided to all bidders. The work to be performed hereunder shall include the furnishing of all labor, materials, tools, transportation, supplies, equipment and appurtenances necessary for the complete and satisfactory replacement/rehabilitation of public utilities for the Amherst County Service Authority (the "Owner") as described in the plans. The work shall include, but is not limited to, the construction of approximately 1,550 lf of 8" sanitary sewer with associated appurtenances. The work includes installation of approximately 580 lf in Lakeview Drive by directional drilling methods. The remainder of the project is in easements as shown on the plans and as described in the technical specifications. Plans, specifications, and contract documents are open to public inspection at the following locations: 1) Amherst County Service Authority Office located at 113 Phelps Road, Madison Heights, VA 24572 2) Hurt & Proffitt, Inc., Inc., 2524 Langhorne Rd., Lynchburg, VA, 24501. Include complete street mailing address with zip code, telephone and fax number with area code, and contractor's license number, if applicable. No partial sets will be distributed.
