Site work for a water / sewer project in Madison Heights, Virginia. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The work to be performed hereunder shall include the furnishing of all labor, materials, tools, transportation, supplies, equipment and appurtenances necessary for the complete and satisfactory replacement/rehabilitation / replacement of dam related valves / valve stems / trash rack for the Amherst County Service Authority (the "Owner") as described in the plans. The work shall include, but is not limited to, installation of an underwater track rack for the existing low flow valve, replacement of the low flow valve stem system / actuator system, and replacement of a valve stem system for one of the water treatment intake valves, as shown on the plans and as described in the contract drawings. In addition, this project could also include replacement of the low flow sluice gate valve system itself if found to be inoperable during construction.
