The work to be performed hereunder shall include the furnishing of all labor, materials, tools, transportation, supplies, equipment and appurtenances necessary for the complete and satisfactory replacement/rehabilitation of public utilities for the Amherst County Service Authority (the "Owner") as described in the plans. This project consists of the construction of approximately 1,800 LF of sanitary sewer forcemain and approximately 100 LF of gravity sewer within the right-of-way of Route 210. The work includes installing the forcemain and gravity sewer and other appurtenances along with all associated erosion control measures as shown on the plans and in the technical specifications. A Bid must be accompanied by Bid security made payable to Owner in an amount of 5 percent of Bidder's maximum Bid price (determined by adding the base bid and all alternates) and in the form of a Bid bond issued by a surety meeting the requirements of Paragraph 6.01 of the General Conditions. Such Bid bond will be issued in the form included in the Bidding Documents. Bid security must be at least 5% of the Bidder's maximum Bid price. Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, including without limitation, nonconforming, nonresponsive, unbalanced, or conditional Bids.
