Site work for a water / sewer project in Blakely, Georgia. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The Project consists of replacement of existing water meters with new AMI water meters, more specifically provide and install +/- 2400 - 5/8" x 3/4" AMI water meters, +/- 100 - 1" AMR water meters, +/- 10 - 1.5" AMR water meters, +/- 50 - 2" AMR water meters, +/- 6- 3" AMI water meters, +/- 2- 4" AMI water meters, +/- 1- 6" AMI water meters, +/-2,566 - 3/4"-6" sized backflow preventers and furnishing 4 handheld meter reading tablets. Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a lump sum and unit price basis, with alternate bid items as indicated in the Bid Form. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by Engineer in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda delivered to all parties recorded as having received the Bidding Documents. Questions received less than seven days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered. Only questions answered by Addenda will be binding. Oral and other interpretations or clarifications will be without legal effect. Addenda may be issued to clarify, correct, supplement, or change the Bidding Documents.
