Renovation of a mixed-use development in Valdosta, Georgia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Project consists of complete replacement of existing pad mounted package units and miscellaneous split systems, miscellaneous duct replacement/installation and installation of a new HVAC control system. Construction Contract: Bids will be received for the following Work: 1. General Contract (all trades). Bid security shall be submitted with each bid in the amount of [5] percent of the bid amount. No bids may be withdrawn for a period of [60] days after opening of bids. Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities and irregularities. Successful bidder shall begin procuring materials on receipt of the Notice to Proceed (est. June 6, 2023) and shall complete the Work prior to July 1, 2024. Bidder shall submit with the bid form an estimated material procurement timeline along with an estimated construction timeline. Bidder shall be advised all work shall be accomplished during non-school hours, weekends, and school holidays. At no point shall the existing mechanical or electrical system be removed or disabled while students and/or teachers are present within the building. Bidders must be properly licensed under the laws governing their respective trades and be able to obtain insurance and bonds required for the Work. A Performance Bond, and Insurance in a form acceptable to Owner will be required of the successful Bidder.
