The Central Dauphin School District desires to contract with a firm for the purchase and installation of new High Definition (HD) Cameras at three of its schools. The preferred manufacturer of High Definition (HD) cameras is Acti, Axis Communications. High Definition (HD) cameras and licenses must connect to existing network video management software by Video Insight, Version 7.8.152 or most current. Cameras and Licenses not compatible with this software will NOT be considered. Storage space for servers must retain a minimum of thirty days of video. 2. Successful proposer will furnish and install, as hereinafter specified, all equipment and installation material required whether or not enumerated herein 3. The installation of new cameras at all the above schools must be fully operational at the completion of installation on or before August 11, 2023. Start work date will commence after the School Board approves the bid award. This is anticipated to occur on or about May 23, 2023. All work should be completed after school hours. Summer work, starting June 12, 2023, through August 3, 2023, Monday through Thursday, will be coordinated through Mr. Tim Pavlovcic, Life Safety and Security Supervisor. Installation could be simultaneous or each location at a time, as discussed and agreed between the Central Dauphin School District and Awarded Proposer. 4. The successful proposer must be an authorized representative of the equipment manufacturer supplied and have full-time technicians trained and certified in the installation and service of the equipment supplied 5. The successful proposer is responsible for verifying all measurements and all utilities involved with this project PRIOR to placing the final order for awarded products and services. Performance Bond - The bidder shall, furnish at their expense a Performance Bond of a surety company acceptable to the Board, in the sum equal to fifty percent (50%) of the estimated contract price, guaranteeing the faithful performance of this contract
