The County reserves the right to withdraw, cancel, suspend, and/or modify this RFQual for any reason and at any time with no liability to any prospective Responder for any costs or expenses incurred in connection with the RFQual or otherwise. The selected consultant will be responsible for the following: Firm currently has staff with correctional facility experience. Firm has completed a correctional facility or similar facility within the past six (6) years. Responders should submit an SOQ(s) that meet the following criteria, the basis for which the Responders will be evaluated and ranked: 1. Location of office. Only Responders within a 75-mile radius of the Architectural Services Division office will be considered. Exception: For security electronics engineering, food service design, and fire alarm design consultants only; location of office is not required to be within the prescribed distanceradius if the respondent is able to provide the same level of service as an office within the prescribed distance radius. For example, the Respondent is able to send a qualified representative to respond toconstruction field issues within 24 hours. • Identify the location of office that meets this requirement 2. Designate the number of years the firm has been in professional practice. 3. Clearly outline the qualifications and experience of management and key staff. • In addition to the qualifications and experience of the key staff, the key staff members are required to be knowledgeable and proficient in Construction Specifications Institute (CSI) MasterFormat. • In addition to the qualifications and experience of the key staff, the responsible Engineer or Architect in charge is required to be professionally licensed per California State, Department of Consumer Affairs in the discipline for which the firm is submitting. 4. If a firm has recent experience with Sacramento County Architectural Services Division, identify project name, scope of work, construction cost and year bid for projects completed in the last five years. 5. Experience with specific types of projects (i.e. probation, airports, parks and recreation, medical or correctional/justice facilities) with other Sacramento County departments or other public agencies within the State of California. 6. At least three references for projects completed within the last five years. Identify contact name and phone number, applicable project name, construction cost and year completed.
