Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Ashland, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
This statement of work (SOW) describes services needed by The Town of Ashland, through its Department of Public Works, is soliciting bids from qualified contractors to construct a 5-ft wide 1,623.51 foot long trail system (including an ADA compliant section near the parking area), at the Cadilac Park site located at 409 Eliot Street.The Site is a mixture of grassland, wooded area, and gravel and generally slopes down from the Southwest. The area with a proposed parking lot is mostly gravel and is fairly level. A majority of the property line is marked by stone walls.The term "Contractor" shall mean the person, persons, partnership, corporation, or business organization engaged on behalf of the Town of Ashland, Massachusetts pursuant to a contract for the performance of work described in this SOW.NO bid received after the date and time for receipt of bids (listed in the "Procurement in Brief" above) will be considered by the Town, regardless of the cause of delay
