The Engineering Department at VA Greater Los Angeles Healthcare System (VAGLAHS) for the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs located at 11301 Wilshire Blvd., Los Angeles, CA 90073 is seeking to purchase 40x Eaton brand battery jars that require replacement in the Uninterrupted Power Supply (UPS) for the Siemens MRI in building 507. Services required include battery replacement, performance verification, inspection of cables, hardware, electronics, housing, and disposal of old batteries in accordance with EPA approved regulations. Services Background The VA Greater Los Angeles Healthcare System (VAGLAHCS) requires qualified personnel to perform battery replacement for the Siemens MRI, located in building 507. The services shall comply with this Performance Work Statement (PWS), all VA, local, state, and Federal policies, and regulations. Objective The objective of this service contract is to have a contractor to furnish all labor, materials, supplies, tools, equipment, parts, travel, and qualified personnel to accomplish this requirement outlined in this PWS. Scope Contractor is responsible for all subcontractors required to complete reports. All work shall be performed during normal hours unless otherwise approved by the COR or his/her designee.
