Site work and paving for a road / highway in South Padre Island, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
Bids are solicited for 2023 Side Street Improvements, Phase I E. Mars Lane, Laguna Circle South, and Morningside Drive, with the following definitions, terms and conditions of bidding. This bid contains the City's standard contract terms, conditions and insurance requirements, attached as Exhibit LOCATION AND DESCRIPTION OF PROJECT: E. Mars Lane, Laguna Circle South, and W. Morningside; this entails reconstruction of the streets to include drainage improvements. LIQUIDATED DAMAGES: TIME IS OF THE ESSENCE IN THIS CONTRACT. Failure to meet Substantial or Final Completion dates will result in damages to the city in an amount specified in City's Standard Form of Agreement. QUESTIONS and INQUIRIES : The deadline for written questions is April 18, 2023 at @ 2:00 p.m. Questions and inquiries about this Solicitation shall be submitted in writing to the following individual. Alejandro Sanchez, P.E., CFM. Public Works Director csanchez@myspi.org BONDS : The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Payment Bond and Performance Bond in the amount of the contract. Bidders may not withdraw their Bid Proposal within 60 calendar days of the bid opening date Award by city on May 17 2023
