Allegany County seeks the delivery of equipment specified within the document or the delivery and installation of equipment specified for the purpose of upgrading the current Ruckus wireless environment while preserving the existing installation. Equipment quoted must be received by May 1, 2023 and installation and testing completed by May 20,2023. Any bid received after this date and time will not be accepted. Apparent bid results will be available the following business day on ourwebsite alleganygov.org. There will be no pre-bid conference. Response to the Invitation to Bid may include the installation of all indoor and outdoor access points specified in Option A at the Allegany County Fairgrounds. Installation process includes delivery and/or receipt, inventory tagging, dismounting of existing access points, mounting of new access points both indoor and outdoor. Implementation included in the proposal should include removal of existing indoor access point, installation of new indoor access point including cabling, mounting of outdoor access point including cabling, professional service to setup of the Controller, configuration of the AP to function with existing VLAN, and testing the coverage of the external AP. When mounting access point device to existing structures, all necessary precautions must be taken when drilling or penetrating the exterior wall of any of the buildings. The outdoor access point devices shall be positioned and installed to cover as much of the outdoor area of the site as possible. Installer to provide bucket truck, scissor lift. Allegany County will provide electric to poles specified.
