As of May 10, 2023, a consultant has been selected and this project is in the conceptual phase. Consultant firm information has not been determined. Although a firm timeline for construction has not been determined, construction is not expected to start prior to May 2024. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: The Town of Hampton, NH (hereinafter "Town"), acting through its Town Manager, in accordance with the provisions of New Hampshire Revised Statutes Annotated Chapter 37, Section 6 and the provisions of the Town's Purchasing Policy and Purchasing Procedures Chapter 718 of the Hampton Code of Ordinances requests sealed written proposals (RFP) from qualified architecture and planning firms to create a final conceptual design and preliminary budget for the construction of the Hampton Hub Collaborative Community Center. All inquiries regarding this document, and any technical aspect may be directed to Amanda Reynolds Cooper, Library Director at (603) 926-3368 weekdays between the hours of 9:00 AM and 4:30 PM All proposals shall be submitted in conformance with this RFP and all its sections, and any attachments, any addenda distributed, and all requested information must be supplied. Failure to comply will be reflected in the evaluation of the RFP and may result in the disqualification of the consultant. The maximum (not-to-exceed) funding available is $165,945, inclusive of labor and all project expenses related to the scope of work. The Consultant's role will be to prepare all project tasks to complete the final conceptual design and preliminary budget for the construction of the Hampton Hub Collaborative Community Center. The Library Director, Recreation and Parks Director and/or their designee will work closely with the Consultant, providing management, support, and supervision as necessary. The Consultant shall provide the time and resources for all aspects of this project, including but not limited to meeting attendance, facilitation, and presentations, inter-municipal coordination, report writing, and public outreach and involvement. The Town, acting through the Town Manager, reserves the right to reject any or all submittals, to waive technical or legal deficiencies, to proceed or not to proceed with any subsequent interview process, or to negotiate without further process any contract as may be in the best interest of the Town. The decisions of the Town Manager shall be final. The Consultant shall begin work upon contract approval and complete all tasks by January 29, 2024. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
